Discover Barcelona in 3 days

Here is an example of how to make the most of your time in our amazing Barcelona..

Coming over for very few days? Don’t know where to start?

There are plenty of guides and websites that make the promotion of the city. The information is spread around but you don’t want to spend hours compiling it to get a general idea of how to make the most of your time. Here we are!

In this post are some suggestions to discover and really get to enjoy Barcelona in an exclusive and surprising way. We like to mix cultural discovery with various activities and of course, some tastings of local food and drinks!

Follow some tips, ask for some more advice and ENJOY Barcelona!

1st Day in Barcelona? It’s quite short to see it all, but we can make the best of it.

In this case, you may be in transit or travelling with a cruise ship. As you have little time, a car at disposal for the day may be a good option for you.

Meet with your guide and start your discovery by the Historic center also known as the Gothic area. This walking tour will lead you to see the best of the site without rushing… Stopping by a nice terrace to enjoy a coffee will pace yourself to the local rhythm.

After a tasty local lunch, cross the charming Born district before riding a bike and heading to the Ciutadella Park and to the beaches… You will deserve a break then, maybe with a nice local vermut or mojito to fully enjoy the sea view…

If you have some energy left, follow your guide up to the lively Ramblas and the famous Passeig de Gracia, and wander around the luxury shops before enjoying the facades of the houses of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi and other Modernist monuments…

It will be then time for a nice dinner…why not joining a Tapas Tour today? It’s a good way to sample various Barcelona’s traditional dishes, walking by a new district like Gracia. If you prefer to chill on a rooftop terrace, we also have some nice addresses to suggest…

Some rest will probably be rewarding after this day, but we can also recommend some Clubs for you to keep you up until the end of the night!

As we’re not a Travel Agency, we do not book hotels or accommodation. As events’ organizers, we know a lot of them though: depending on your program and budget, we can recommend the perfect accommodation for you !

2nd Day in Barcelona: Get to enjoy the local pace…

After such an intense first day, why don’t you start this day with a yoga session to refill your energy? It’s a good way to start the day perfectly relaxed, on holidays! Unless you prefer to go running and exercise with your personal coach?

Meet in the Charming Gracia area and after such a good start, enjoy an ecologic local breakfast or snack
It’s time then to walk with your private guide around the “Barrio” of Gracia that keeps it’s village ambiance and reveals many picturesque squares to chill out…

After lunch, dedicate your afternoon to the unmissable visit of the Modernists gems for some of them secretly hidden in the Eixample district : we propose a special tour to get to know the works of Gaudi and his contemporaries. We would suggest you to finish this walking tour adding the entrance to the amazing Sagrada Familia. This temple gives the best example of the genius of the architect Antoní Gaudi and even if it is unfinished, it is already a unique monument, with no possible comparison in the world.

You should allow yourself some time to relax then, unless you prefer to go shopping? Or get a photo shooting session on the beach?

At the end of the day, nothing better than signing up for a private sailing cruise with a cava glass (local Champagne) to enjoy the sunset in the most exclusive way…

It would be about time then to go for a delicious sea food dinner in Barceloneta Area. Those that want to keep up will be at walking distance of the Olympic Harbour where all the iconic nightclubs are concentrated : the show goes on until 5 or 6 AM there!

3rd Day in Barcelona : Explore further

Now that you saw the highlights of the historic areas, why not Challenge the Hills of Montjuic or Collserola? We have many different options to enjoy it with a trekking, an orientation game (gymkhana), a yoga experience, an ecologic workshop… Ask for a tailor-made experience!

After lunch, you may like to head to one of the famous Museums of Barcelona like the MNAC, the MACBA or join the tour of the famous FCB Stadium…

It gets you to the perfect time to enjoy our tasty Chocolate tour unless you prefer the Markets Tour to bring back some samples of our special local recipes!

This article was written for those coming to enjoy their first “city-break” in Barcelona. Of course, this program is just a suggestion that we find quite balanced to see a lot of highlights, go a bit “off the beaten track” and taste real local food. For a first discovery of the city, it is quite complete! Besides, allowing some time for yourself and being in the nice company of your Insiders, we hope that you’ll feel just like a local having an amazing time!
